How Late Are Liquor Stores Open in Alberta? A Late-Night Guide for St. Albert
When the store closes, what Alberta allows, and how to make a late run on St Albert Trail quick, easy and safe.
Read the guideFrom Oakmont, head west along Boudreau Road toward St. Albert Trail. City Liquor is just off Boudreau on Inglewood Drive, about five minutes away.
Oakmont is the neighbourhood just east of Erin Ridge in north-east St. Albert. Most trips from Oakmont to City Liquor follow one easy pattern: out to Bellerose Drive, west on Boudreau Road, and a left onto Inglewood Drive just before St. Albert Trail. The store is at 260-525 St Albert Trail, on the east side of the Trail.
That's about 2.4 km, roughly five minutes outside rush hour. Homes on the far side of the neighbourhood may add a minute or two. Many Oakmont streets start with O, like Oakdale Place, Oriole Court and Oakmont Drive itself, so you'll know when you've left the neighbourhood.
If you're planning a picnic with a bottle of wine or a few cans, stick to the signed picnic area and the 11 AM to 9 PM window. Alcohol isn't permitted during city events or anywhere else in the park. Carry bottles closed and out of reach in the car, and take your empties home. Our Alberta liquor laws guide explains the rules on parks and transporting alcohol.
We're a neighbourhood liquor store with cold beer (singles to cases, from domestic favourites to Alberta craft), red, white, rosé and sparkling wine, spirits, and coolers, seltzers and ciders. Our staff are happy to help you choose, whether that's a wine for dinner, a whisky for a gift or something new from Alberta's craft brewers. See our Alberta craft beer guide for a primer.
Hours: open from 10 AM every day, until 10 PM Sunday to Thursday and until midnight on Friday and Saturday. Parking is free, and debit, credit and tap are accepted.
Please enjoy responsibly. You must be 18+ to buy alcohol in Alberta, and if you're drinking, plan a safe ride home.
